Shelby's Stitches's Blog

Mostly random rambling about yarn, crocheting, knitting, giving back, dogs, and football. And that's just today!

I’m no fool!

on March 7, 2012

I have been told a time or two that I can crochet pretty quickly. Time to put that to the test. On April 1st I will be spending some time at a cozy little spot in Arlington whipping up as many hats as I can. What am I going to do with all these hats? I will be donating them to the Providence hospital to give to their cancer patients. I will be making the hats in toddler sizes.

How can you make a difference? There are two ways. With a $50 direct donation to Relay For Life (link to follow) I will donate 5 hats under your name in a color of your choosing. The other option is to pledge a dollar amount to how many hats I make in my sit in. If you pledge $1 per hat and I make 10 hats, you would be committing to a $10 donation.

Please email if you would like to be updated about the time, location and all the awesome fundraisingness!
